His Story
A Lifetime Dedicated to Beautiful, Honest Dentistry
Dr. Hemant Patel's journey in dentistry began long before he opened his practice in Upland. After earning his initial degree from the Government Dental School in India, he worked as a Dental Lab Technician in London — giving him a rare, hands-on understanding of exactly how dental restorations are designed and made. That experience gave him an exceptional eye for aesthetics and precision that patients still benefit from today.
He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University's College of Dentistry — consistently ranked one of the best dental schools in the United States — graduating with honors.
In December 1981, he opened his own practice in the Inland Empire, and he's been serving the community ever since.

Dr. Patel has always believed that great dentistry means embracing the tools that make care better, faster, and more comfortable. He was one of the first dentists in the Inland Empire to incorporate laser dentistry into his practice — a technology that reduces pain and speeds up healing.
